Given the global political and cultural context, we see that culture plays a role in the development of people. The African continent is full of cultural resources, but the image of its music is still surrounded by stereotypes.
We note a lack of promotion and training in music professions. It is urgent to put in place training and dissemination tools for a better representation of African artistic imagination.
Stereo Africa Festival therefore aims to be a more egalitarian meeting place, a more inclusive alternative, experimental music lounge, to offer an uninhibited ecosystem.
